Preparing for family pictures can be such a daunting task. There are so many questions that need to be answered:

All of these questions — and more — can be easily answered with 3 resources I give access to all of my clients. These resources will make preparing for pictures a breeze.
1. Online Booking
Life is busy! The last thing you want to have to worry about is emailing back and forth with your photographer to try to find a photo session date. I use a program called Sprout Studio that makes booking online super easy! Not only are you able to see my available dates, but also the exact times so there is no guesswork.
In addition to online booking, Sprout creates a client portal specifically for you so all of your documents are in ONE place. Questionnaires and invoices are available prior to your pictures, while your private online gallery and print shop are available after your session. Everything you’ll need is easily accessible, but I am always happy to help along the way.
2. Welcome Guide
Another great resource I provide you with is a detailed Client Welcome Guide. This PDF document walks you through the entire picture experience from start to finish. It includes helpful information such as location ideas, tips for preparing kids for a fun session, and things to consider when choosing outfits. The guide also outlines everything you can expect along the way: when and how to pay invoices, how I’ll interact with your family during the session, the length of your photo session, and turnaround time for photo delivery. This resource includes lots of images so you can have a visual reference on how to prepare too!
3. Style & Select
The #1 concern I hear is “I have no idea what to wear.” Well, Style & Select is about to become your new best friend. This is one of the easiest way to prepare your family for pictures.
This online styling platform helps you choose outfits for your entire family all from the comfort of your couch. Clothing choices can be purchased directly from the site or you can even find a similar item from your own closet and create a coordinated look.
