Well, hello there, baby Olive! It was such a pleasure doing an in-home lifestyle newborn session for this beautiful baby girl in her home in Indianapolis, Indiana. It’s always fun to see how each baby’s home is so different — and this one had such a cool vibe.
How we met
I first met Baby Olive’s parents last fall for a maternity session. They were so excited to share their exciting news with the world! This darling baby girl was definitely cherished even before her debut.
Cozy time at the in-home newborn session
Lifestyle newborn sessions have such a cozy feel about them, and Baby Olive’s was no different. Her parents were more than happy to snuggle their first baby. We had a great time dressing her in different knotted gowns and outfits. She really was such a little doll!
What to wear for a lifestyle newborn session
Moms always wonder what to wear for their in-home newborn session. I always tell them to dress comfortably, whether it’s a comfy pair of pants and a cute sweater, or a breezy sundress. I make sure to send my families a Client Prep Guide before their session so they have lots of great styling ideas.
Precious moments
Baby Olive was eager to see what was going on during her newborn session! She was wide awake most of the time, which is always super cute to see. I love photos when baby’s eyes are open, as well as the sleepy ones.
